Pilgrims Lane, NW3
- External and internal alterations to a Grade II listed building including the erection of five dormer windows at roof level, provision of balcony at upper ground floor level and landscaping.
- Xul Architecture was approached by a private client in August 2009 for a project involving alterations to a grade II listed early 19th century detached house in Hampstead. The house is three storeys plus basement and attic. Xul Architecture was commissioned to fully renovate the house. Our aim was to improve the appearance and quality of the living accommodation following low quality refurbishments and a flat conversion within the past five decades. Amongst other changes we proposed renovations to the ground floor, first and third floors, balconies and the garden as well as the addition of five dormers on the roof. The house has been transformed from a dilapidating residency into a luxury family home.
- Finished built area: 401sqm
- Finished on site in late 2010
