We have worked on a number of boroughs in London. Most of our work is in Camden, Barnet, Haringey and Westminster, which are some of the most challenging boroughs in terms of Planning.
In any case we always do detailed research on any local constraints and regulations. On complicated projects and/or listed buildings we often work closely with a planning consultant. We are used to working on listed buildings and conservation areas.

How we work
It can be a challenge to keep up with all the stages involved in designing and building or renovating a home. Our step-by-step method makes it easier.
We’ve created a platform (a bit like Dropbox) so you have every bit of information about your project at the click of a button. That means we’re all on the same page, and you’ll be able to put your hands on the plans and timeline exactly when you need them.

By explaining every stage carefully, we ensure that even if you’ve never worked with an architect before, you’ll feel confident, happy, and inspired – without fear of losing control of time or budget.
And we’re ingenious and innovative, not only in our design, but also in overcoming any hurdles in the logistics of your project. We’ll bring all our ideas out into the light and we’ll always take a ‘can do’ approach – but at the same time we’ll be clear and honest with you if something needs to be rethought.
Because while a beautiful home is the aim, it’s just as much about enjoying the journey to get there.

Advice on Home Renovations in Radlett
Radlett, a prosperous village in Hertfordshire, is known for its delightful mix of architectural styles, from classic Victorian homes to modern new builds. If you’re considering a home renovation in this desirable location, here are some essential tips to help you along the way.
Respect the Character of Your Home
Radlett’s architectural landscape is diverse, and each property has its unique features that contribute to its charm. Whether you’re renovating a period property or a more modern home, it’s essential to understand and respect its architectural character. Try to retain original features, such as ornate plasterwork, wooden floors, or sash windows, as these elements add personality and value to your home.
Understand Local Planning Regulations
Before starting any renovation work, familiarise yourself with the local planning regulations. If your property is listed or located in a conservation area, you may need to get specific permissions before you can make significant changes. Check with the Hertsmere Borough Council to ensure you have the necessary permissions to avoid any legal complications down the line.
Prioritise Energy Efficiency
A successful home renovation should not only focus on aesthetics but also on energy efficiency. Consider insulating your home, installing energy-efficient appliances, or integrating renewable energy sources such as solar panels. This will not only reduce your carbon footprint but also lead to savings on energy bills.
Hire Local Professionals
Consider hiring local professionals for your renovation project. Local architects, builders, and contractors will have a good understanding of the local planning regulations, the typical structure of Radlett homes, and the issues you might face during the renovation. They may also have connections with local suppliers, which can be helpful in sourcing materials.
Maximise Natural Light and Space
Think about how you can maximise space and natural light in your home. Open plan living is an increasingly popular choice for modern living. Additionally, consider incorporating larger windows, skylights, or glass doors into your design to bring in more light and connect the interior with the exterior.
Don’t Forget the Outdoors
Many Radlett properties come with generous garden spaces. Make sure to consider the garden in your renovation plan. A well-designed and maintained garden can significantly enhance your home’s appeal and provide a lovely outdoor space for relaxation and entertainment.
Conclusion
Renovating a home in Radlett provides an excellent opportunity to create a home that fits your lifestyle while respecting the architectural heritage of the area. Be mindful of the character of your home, understand the local regulations, consider energy efficiency, hire the right professionals, and maximise light and space. With careful planning, your renovation project will not only enhance your living space but also add value to your property.
