How many revisions to plans will my architect produce?

We can offer revisions to your design within reason. The number of revisions an architect will produce for a project can vary depending on a number of things, including the complexity of the project, the scope of work, budget, and timescale. However, typically, architects will provide two to three rounds of revisions for their design plans.

During the initial design phase, the architect will present their proposed design to the client for review and feedback. The client may request changes or revisions at this stage, which the architect will then incorporate into the design plans. The architect will then present the revised plans to the client for another review, and this process may repeat one or two more times until the client is completely satisfied with the final scheme.

It’s worth noting that the number of revisions included in the architect’s services may be specified in their contract, so it’s essential to review the contract carefully and discuss any questions or concerns with the architect before starting the project. Normally, the number of revisions is specified per stage of the project. If you ask your architect to make changes once a stage is closed and you have moved onto the next stage, there may be additional charges.
